And because we went with carbon fiber instead of the usual tungsten or halogen wires, the electrical resistance is much lower. It heats up fast. Like, really fast. The secret is in the carbon fiber Here’s the thing about carbon fiber: it just handles the stress better. When you’re cranking the heat up and down constantly, quartz-halogen options tend to struggle.
